Pre-School
Pre-school is led by Mrs. Patsy Millen supported by Mrs. Sharon Birdsall, Mrs. Caroline Laing, Ms Kate Freeman and Mrs Jayne Wright. Pre-school continues to run every morning from 8.45 a.m. till 11.45 a.m. for children aged 2 1/2 years and over. We currently have 15 children in pre-school.
School doors/Pre School doors open at 8.45am. Children should not arrive before 8.45am. Our staff need time to prepare for the session.
Children from the age of 2.5years are able to stay for school lunch after their Pre-School session. The children are supervised via Pre-School/Lunch time staff. Meals cost £2.00 per day. Children attending pre-school and staying for lunch need to be picked up from school at 12.50pm
The Early Years Foundation Stage.
The Early years foundation stage is a statutory framework that applies to children from birth to five years. At Cambo we aim to provide a safe ,stimulating and welcoming environment where children can learn through play and develop to their full potential. All children are treated as individuals and staff ensure that personalized learning and a broad and balanced curriculum help the children achieve their early learning goals by the end of reception year.
Parents can gain more information on the EYFS from our pre-school policies and by going to the website www.gov/eyfs.co.uk
